It is also one of the most popular motorcycles ever released because I can’t tell the number of Yamaha units that sold the R6.

All this makes the R6 one of the best sport motorcycle in the world, and believe me, Honda and other 600cc models do not come close to the level of performance it provides, which is why I decided to mention it first. It is the best 600cc motorcycle series in the market.

The price of the Yamaha R6

The Yamaha R6 is sold at $12,199, which is relatively expensive, but trust me, it’s worth the price. The price itself varies depending on the version you buy and if you want to buy its used, it will cost you between $3,000 to $11,000.

The R6 has an outstanding performance that has made a huge change in the market and is one of the most powerful and strongest machines ever released.

  • First, the Yamaha R6 introduces the first engine to reach over 100hp. Thanks to its powerful 599cc cooled DOHC 4 cylinder inline fluid engine, 16 titanium valves and today’s modern engine surrounded with a 120-seat creature that can reach a maximum speed of up to 160 km (99 mph), which is just crazy and proves that the R6 engine is one of the qualities and powerful engine you can find for a race.

My opinion about the R6

But with all that, I would only recommend the R6 for racers and not for every motorcycle lover because its price is quite expensive. So, if you mostly ride in the city, I would recommend you buy a cheap motorcycle. But if you have the money to invest, you won’t be disappointed with the R6.

Honda CBR600RR

The CBR600RR was made by Honda in 2003 and has really made an incredible history. It has won several world titles such as the 2002 World Sports Champion and ten manufacturers’ crowns. The truth about it is that it is the greatest motorcycle in racing history because a lot of motorcyclists have won lots of races with it.

I had once argued about the Honda CBR600RR and the R6 and had a very hard time deciding the best between them. But I finally came to the conclusion that the CBR600RR should come second because Honda didn’t really make a huge change as Yamaha did to R6. Since 2013, Honda didn’t make any upgrades to the CBR600RR which makes it drop in performance, but it is still worthy of second place though I know some people will disagree with me.

The price of the CBR600RR

The CBR600RR is sold for $11,799, which is even cheaper than the Yamaha R6. But if you want to buy its used, I recommend the CBR600F4 or CBR600F4i models that averagely cost between $4,000 to $7,000.

For many, they do not like its design because there are many beautiful models in recent years and it is not as beautiful as its competitors such as Yamaha and Suzuki. My opinion about the CBR600RR

The CBR600RR is undoubtedly one of the best motorcycles you can find, and for me, it is second to Yamaha in the 600cc market. It is also suitable for racing and priced at only $ 11,799 which is cheaper than its competitors.

I know many people will buy it because it is cheaper than the Yamaha R6 with a difference of almost $1,000. And it is not only cheaper than the Yamaha R6 but also than other 600cc motorcycles in the market.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is a famous Kawasaki model that as early as 1995 and to this day, Kawasaki continues to upgrade it in performance and it gets better every year.

Today, the ZX-6R is considered the best 600cc motorcycle in the market. Although it is designed for racing, it very good for street riding and does a great job while riding in the city.

I must also point out that the ZX-6R will only fit for tall riders because it provides very large and wide dimensions.

The price of the ZX-6R

The ZX-6R costs between $9,000 to $11,000 and as a matter of fact, it is much cheaper than the Honda and Yamaha. And if you want to buy its used, it costs between $3,000 to $8,000.

  • First, the ZX-6R has a very powerful 636cc, 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, DOHC, 16-valve, liquid-cooled powertrain engine that reaches 127 KW and manages to produce very high speeds of 257-264 km/h (160–164 mph) which is amazing.

In my opinion, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is by far one of the best 600cc motorcycles in the market. It proves why it is so good, but it is important to note that the ZX-6R is sold at a cheaper price for a reason and the R6 and CBR600RR models will perform better. So, take note of that.

Suzuki GSX-R600

A model that I think is very much underestimated in the market and doesn’t really get the respect it deserves is the Suzuki GSX-R600. It is the most deserving 600cc motorcycle and the truth is that it is even more powerful in performance and provides almost than other 600cc motorcycles mentioned here.

It is also important to note that for the past few years, Suzuki has not really made a significant upgrade to the GSX-R600, but with that, it still manages to match the performance of most other 600cc motorcycles.

The price of the GSX-R600

The GSX-R600 costs about $11,399 which is actually cheaper than most of its competitors, and if you want to buy its used, the price varies depending on the year the model was produced, but if the model was created between 2000 to 2005, it would cost you between $2,000 to $6,000 on average.

  • The first thing that made me love the GSX-R600 is its 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, fluid-cooled, DOHC 599cc engine that delivers crazy power for racing plus 104 horsepower and a maximum speed of up to 155mph. And the most amazing thing is that it allows the rider to change the engine’s power level to match the weather.
  • For the brakes, I personally love them because they really do a smooth job. The brakes come with dual front with a four-tiered mono-block caliper, but the big downside is that Suzuki has not yet put in the GSX-R600 ABS brake system, so this is something you have to take into account if ABS brake is something that matters to you.
  • In addition, the frame and construction style of the GSX-R600 is very durable. Thanks to the 5 layers of aluminum that cover the frame and the best thing is that despite the rigidity of the frame’s weight, it still weighs 187 kg (412 pounds), which is very light.

My opinion about the GSX-R600

In my opinion, the Suzuki GSX-R600 is amazing and I do not understand why some people still disrespect Suzuki. The GSX-R600 is a bad beast and offers a lot of power, especially when racing. While some even say it bypasses the performance of the Yamaha R6, which is why I strongly encourage you to take it into consideration before you go for the famous Yamaha and Honda selections.

Triumph Daytona 675r

The Triumph Daytona 675r is a good and powerful motorcycle, while its biggest competitor is the Zx6r. I personally do not know much about this motorcycle, and I really doubt its reliability because it is not a Japanese motorcycle.

Don’t get me wrong, the Triumph Daytona 675r is a very powerful motorcycle but don’t compare its performance to that of Yamaha or Honda. It is suitable for both racing and road riding because it is considered relatively compact.

The price of the Triumph Daytona 675r

The Triumph Daytona 675r is sold lesser than most of its competitors. It costs between $8,000 to $10,000, while if you want a used 2005 Daytona 675r model, budget at least $3,000 which is a good price.

  • First, the Triumph Daytona 675r delivers a very powerful and strong 675cc DOHC three-cylinder engine that manages heat through fluid cooling and can reach a maximum speed of up to 156mph (0 to 60mph in 2.9 seconds) which is quite impressive.
  • What surprised me most about the Triumph Daytona 675r is the feeling it provides to the rider. It also has a lightweight of 394 lb and a very comfortable 33-inch seat while it is important to note this motorcycle is not scary but more inviting to ride it unlike its competitors like Yamaha that are much scarier to ride.
  • Another thing that surprised me about the Triumph Daytona 675r is its engine efficiency. Although it requires a lot of maintenance, it does not require frequent replacement of fuel. It can reach 10,000 miles before you replace its fuel, which is amazing. So, it is not only cheap in price but also cheap in the long run.

My opinion about the Triumph Daytona 675r

In my opinion, the Triumph Daytona 675r is great for those who want a powerful motorcycle that delivers great speeds at a cheaper price. However, it is not as effective as the Zx6r or other 600cc models in the market.

Also, what I think is a drawback to the Triumph Daytona 675r is its design. I didn’t like the design and it even looks ugly in my opinion. So, it is important to take this into account.

MV Agusta F3 675

And now to my favorite model which I believe you will fall in love with. The MV Agusta F3 675 is a prestigious Italian MV and I personally love it more than any motorcycle on the list because it is so different and offers an amazing riding experience.

The MV Agusta F3 does not outperform any other motorcycle on the list, but it is considered better and much stronger than even the R6. It is also one of the most beautiful sport motorcycles in the market and looks very futuristic and impressive that anyone who sees this motorcycle will be impressed by its beauty.

The price of the MV Agusta F3 675

The MV Agusta F3 costs more than most 600cc motorcycles mentioned because of its impressive performance. It costs €15,490 which is very expensive but well worth its price. You can also buy its used at a cheaper price, which costs between $4,000 to $10,000 on average.

  • The MV Agusta is powered by a very powerful four-stroke 675cc engine that manages to produce a crazy speed and power of about 124.00 hp (90.5 kW) @ 14500 rpm and can reach a maximum speed of up to 251.0 km/h (156.0 mph), which is very impressive.
  • Plus, as I said, the design of the MV Agusta is very impressive, while some say it is one of the most beautiful motorcycles in the world, which I can understand it is because it really looks very good. In my opinion, it looks much beautiful than any 600cc model.
  • Another important thing to note is that the seat height of the MV Agusta is 33 inches, so it may be less suitable and comfortable for short riders because it is a fairly large machine. So, if you are short, you need to take this into account.

My opinion about the MV Agust F3 675

The MV Agusta is an amazing motorcycle with crazy power and beauty. In my opinion, it is much more powerful than even the top 1000cc motorcycles in the market. It is so perfect for racing and, trust me, you won’t be disappointed with it.

In addition, since its price is higher than most of its competitors, buying its used can also be a great option. So, take note of that.

Benley TNT 600i

The Benley TNT 600i is one of the most popular motorcycles in places like India and Africa and any dense country with lots of traffic, while it is less recommended for racing because it is not powerful and strong like other 600cc motorcycles. However, it is highly recommended for city riding, especially in cities where there is a lot of density because the Benley TNT 600i knows how to handle riding on crowded roads, and in general, it is superb for city riding.

You can buy the Benley TNT 600i for Rs 6.20 lakh which is pretty cheap for riders who want a 600cc motorcycle and there are lots of people especially in India who sell its used very cheap. So, it is well worth a check.

  • First, the Bentley TNT 600i has an inline 4 Cylinder, 4 Stroke, DOHC, water-cooled 16-valve 600cc engine, which of course, is not the most powerful engine because it can only reach 54.6 Nm @ 10500 rpm and that is exactly why it is designed for city riding.
  • In addition, the Bentley TNT 600i has a weight of 410 pounds (231 kg), which is heavy but still manages to be great on the road.
  • A very important point to know is that the Benley TNT 600i is one of the most economical 600cc motorcycles in terms of maintenance and does not require much fuel. So, it is not only cheap in price but also in the long run.

My opinion about the Benley TNT 600i

In my opinion, the Benley TNT 600i is a great motorcycle but I would recommend it only for those who feel they need more experience and more riding time before going for a powerful 600cc motorcycle. I would also recommend it for those who feel they need to have more road riding experience before getting a more serious 60cc motorcycle like the Yamaha R6 or the Honda CBR.

Kawasaki Versys 650

Another Kawasaki we have on the list is the Kawasaki Versys 650. Kawasaki Versys 650 is an adventure version and has been running for several generations. It is simply amazing and considered one of the best adventure motorcycles in the market.

The Kawasaki Versys 650 was first made in 2006 with the purpose of serving long rides especially adventure riding, unlike the Ninja ZX-6R made for racing. And to this day, it is very successful. So, the Versys 650 is designed for long-distance riding, which means it is slower and cheaper.

  • The Versys 650 weighs 454 pounds (200kg) which is an average weight for adventure motorcycles and means you will not feel the weight of the motorcycle when riding. This is a very big advantage to the Versys 650 compared to other adventure motorcycles in the market.

My opinion about the Kawasaki Versys 650

In my opinion, the Kawasaki Versys 650 is the best 650cc adventure motorcycle you can find for long trail riding. It is simply amazing and displays all the performance and features needed for long-distance riding.

Suzuki DL650 V-Power

Another Suzuki motorcycle on the list is the Suzuki DL650 V-Strom but an adventure version. For the past 15 years, Suzuki continues to upgrade this amazing adventure model and is truly an excellent motorcycle.

The Suzuki DL650 V-Strom is one of the best 600cc motorcycles for on-road and off-road riding, especially long-distance riding and adventure. So, if you want a Suzuki dual-sports motorcycle, the DL650 is definitely a good choice for you.

In addition, the DL650 is very similar to the Kawasaki Versys 650. So, I recommend you consider them both and then choose the motorcycle you want.

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650

The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is one of the best motorcycles released by the Royal Company years ago, while it is important to note that this model has undergone a lot of major changes and upgrade in recent years, especially the engine and a few other things.

The Interceptor 650 is a very classic model reminiscent of a slightly older design than modern sports motorcycles.
