The Can-Am Outlander X Mr 1000R is, in my opinion, the best ATV on the list for riding through mud because I haven’t seen any other ATV that does it better than it can. I’m not surprised by this because Can-Am is still producing amazing ATVs, and for me, it is one of the best companies producing ATVs.
Also, the reason why Outlander X MR 1000R is the best ATV for mud riding is mainly that it is perfectly adapted for mud riding due to its very high quality and advanced specifications. It can as well ride in areas you didn’t even think it will ride on.
Price
If you want to buy the X MR 1000R, you will have to say goodbye to $14,299. I know it is super expensive, and it may at first seem unprofitable, but believe me, it does pay off, especially for ATV like the X MR 1000R which is just a monstrous beast through any area you just want to ride.
Now, if you think of buying it used, it is a less good idea because the X MR 1000R is a very new model in the market. It came out in 2018, so you may have a very hard time exporting its used model, and if you can’t afford the price of the X MR 1000R, I would recommend you look at the other ATVs on the list that cost much cheaper.

- The Can-Am Outlander X MR 1000R has a monstrous Type 4 Stroke 976 cc engine that can reach crazy speeds of over 75 mph (120 km) which is definitely a crazy speed that allows you to easily pass through mud and enjoy at the same time.
- In addition, the X MR 1000R has very tall dimensions. Its seat height is very high — 36.75 inches, its overall height is 51.5 inches, and its weight is quite heavy — 990 pounds (449 kilos) which may be heavyweight, but with its massive wheels and high speed, it pretty much makes up for it, so you won’t feel heavy while riding, and even lighter.
- The Outlander X MR 1000R offers a very long 59-inch (149.9 cm) wheelbase that is super durable and will let you move through mud in an easy way, even in very deep mud.

2. Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 High Lifter Edition (a real monster)
The Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 High Lifter Edition is one of the most craziest ATVs I’ve personally seen in my entire life and is simply a real monster when it comes to mud riding.
In fact, the XP 1000 High Lifter Edition is an upgrade of the usual XP 1000, just that Polaris Sportsman made a collaboration with High Lifter and they added loads of improvements so that it could stand through mud. The Sportsman even announced that this model is very different from the usual XP 1000 and is more designed for mud riding.
Price
The XP 1000 High Lifter Edition is sold for $13,999 which is a great price in my opinion for a monstrous ATV like the XP 1000 that I think is considered the best ATV in the world today, so it worth it.
Notable features & why he good for Mudding
- The XP 1000 High Lifter Edition has a 952 cc engine with 88 horsepower that allows it to reach crazy maximum speeds of over 85 mph, which is definitely a crazy speed. I personally don’t even recommend getting up to those speeds, just stay in the 60 mph range.
- The best thing about this ATV is the 29.5-inch High Lifter Outlaw tires that give crazy power to easily pass through deep mud which also give stability and flexibility when riding on slippery mud and generally on slippery surfaces no matter what.
- In addition, the XP 1000 High Lifter Edition has great springs that help improve flexibility and ground clearance and also have a low-speed automatic transmission that is designed for mud riding.
- Plus, the dimensions of the XP 1000 are quite high (its seat is 39 inches high and weighs about 974 pounds — 441 kg) which is great for this type of ATV designed to ride through the mud to keep your feet clear of the mud.
Opinion
In my opinion, the Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 High Lifter edition is definitely a monstrous ATV for mud riding, and Sportsman did an amazing job with it, but with this, I would recommend buying it only if you have the budget and desire because it is really expensive. So, if you don’t have the budget, I recommend you consider other ATVs on the list that were significantly cheaper.

3. Yamaha Grizzly EPS 2019 (my favorite)
The Yamaha Grizzly EPS is one of my most favorite ATVs especially because it is Yamaha which is also my favorite company. A lot of people would say that Grizzly EPS is not suitable for mud riding, but the truth is that Grizzly EPS is one of the best ATV for riding on mud because of the strong specifications that Yamaha put on it.
The most notable thing about the Yamaha Grizzly EPS is that it offers great quality and value for its relatively low price, so I recommend it only for riders who want cheap but good ATV, and of course, for all Yamaha enthusiasts like me.

You can buy the Yamaha Grizzly EPS at a relatively low price of about $9,699 which is a great price, and of course, much cheaper than the other ATVs on this list.

- And my favorite thing about the Grizzly EPS is that it has a very high space of 11.3-inch between the ATV itself and the ground which helps prevent the mud from getting stuck in the lower body of the ATV.
- Another thing I really liked is its very beautiful design and also the quality of the construction which is among the best I have seen while countless standing against hard dirt or scratching is what I think Yamaha knows best to do as well

In my opinion, the Yamaha Grizzly EPS is an excellent ATV that can only fit those who want a good ATV at a relatively low price and are willing to compromise a bit on performance.
Plus, as a Yamaha fan, I can tell you that no matter how many other ATVs you buy, you will never love them as you will love Yamaha. At least, that’s the way it is for me, so I think the Grizzly EPS is a must-have ATV for every Yamaha fan.
4. Arctic Cat MudPro 700 (the best ATV for its price)
The Arctic Cat MudPro 700 is an amazing ATV that is specially created for mud riding, and in my opinion, it is the best ATV for its money. Every detail about it is perfect mainly because his makers have made it a point to build it in the most perfect way possible. And the best thing about it is that its price difference is nearly $2,000 from its competitors like Can-Am Outlander X MR 1000R and XP 1000 High Lifter Edition.
Also, many people say that the Arctic Cat MudPro 700 is the best ATV for riding through mud, and I can also testify that yes, it is. It may not be the most powerful or fastest ATV but it knows how to deal perfectly with mud because it was just built for it. Finally, it is not upgraded from a particular ATV like the XP 1000 High Lifter Edition that is built on the foundation of the popular XP 1000.

You can buy the Arctic Cat MudPro 700 at a relatively low price of $10,000 to $11,599 which is a great price for this type of ATV. It is considered cheap because you have to understand that it is very expensive for the companies to build mud resistant ATVs which is one of the reasons why it considered expensive by most people, so you have to make sure you have the budget.

- The Arctic Cat MudPro 700 has a powerful 700cc H1 V-twin engine built in the Arctic Cat factory in Minnesota and the main difference, when compared to the rest of the ATV on the list, is that its engine is specially designed and built for mud riders. Its engine may not be the fastest on the list, but in my opinion, it really knows how to get out of mud in the most efficient and good way when riding.
- In addition, the Arctic Cat MudPro 700 has 18-inch tires manufactured by Maxxis Zilla that work perfectly on mud. The tires have deep directional covers that help it move through mud while the wheels themselves are made of super-strong and durable aluminum.
- Plus, what surprised me the most about the Arctic Cat MudPro 700 is its weight that is a lot lighter than the rest of its competitors. It weighs only 800 pounds (362 kilos) which is relatively light, and this gives it a significant advantage over its competitors.
Opinion
In my opinion, the Arctic Cat MudPro 700 is an excellent ATV and is very suitable for people who want ATV that perform very similar to its well-known competitors which are the XP 1000 High Lifter Edition and the X MR 1000R only at a lower price of nearly $2,000 difference.
5. Polaris RZR XP 1000 EPS High Lifter Edition (Monsters UTV)
The next ATV is actually not really an ATV but more of a UTV, and of course, I’m talking about the Polaris RZR XP that is considered one of the best UTVs for dealing with mud, and in my opinion, it is a real monster. It is very expensive but promising with very advanced performance.
So, why did I call it a UTV and not an ATV, you ask? In fact, I had to include it on the list because it really shows some Monster’s performance, and in my opinion, it is better on some levels than all the other models on this list.
Price
But before you run into this amazing UTV, it is important to know that it has a crazy tag price of about $23,499 which puts this UTV as one of the most expensive UTVs in the world.
If you want to buy it used, unfortunately, it will be very difficult because it was even difficult to export it due to its high price. Most of the people don’t sell its used, but you can always check and try your luck.

Special thanks to the spring that help a lot for this, and I am not exaggerating when I say that it is one of the best riding experiences in UTVs.

6. Rosso Motors Kids Electric ATV (Best for kids)
Rosso Motors ATV is one of my most loved ATVs for children, and it is designed for small children between the ages of 3 to 8, but in my opinion, it is the best ATV for mudding for kids.
Something that it is very important that you need to know is that there are 2 types of Rosso Motors ATV. The first version is for riders over the age of 8 and it is stronger while the second version is a little less powerful and more suitable for kids between the ages of 3 to 8. You can export the Rosso Motors ATV for less than $500. This is very cheap, and in my opinion, it is very worthwhile compared to all the powerful details it offers.

Rosso Motors ATV offers amazing specifications, and it is important to know that the specifications are appropriate to the version of the children.
- The first thing is that Rosso Motors ATV has excellent supply, about 500 watts that works with a 13-watt battery which runs for about two and a half hours, and this should be enough for your child.
- Also, the ATV weighs 100 pounds while it can lug a weight of up to 90 pounds.

In my opinion, Rosso Motors ATV is obviously cheap, and an ATV amazingly built and designed for mudding.
7. Kawasaki KFX ATV (Suitable for small children who are beginners)
The Kawasaki KFX ATV is the best ATV you can export for little kids who are beginners that are between the ages of 2 to 6 because it is very compact and safe for children. Believe me, Kawasaki KFX ATV is by far the perfect ATV for your little child, and in my opinion, it has no competitor comparable to what it offers.
And of course, it can handle mudding in a perfect way but note that this kind of ATV can only handle just a thin mud, not a deep one because it is a very cheap ATV designed for riding light mud and not hard one. Also remember that you bought it for your child, not for professional mud work.
Price
The prices of the Kawasaki KFX ATV is a very low price between $100 to $300. It is the cheapest ATV on the list.
Notable features & why he good for Mudding
Although the Kawasaki KFX is sold very cheap, it really does not hold it back from offering a very good and powerful performance.
- The first thing is that the Kawasaki KFX has an excellent 12-watt battery power, which gives a two-speed option. The first is 3 mph and the second is 6 mph which is the maximum speed it can reach.
- Also, what surprised me most about the Kawasaki KFX is that it can handle any surface that you want to ride on, such as mud, stones, and even thin snow. This is because of its very powerful wheelset made of chrome that gives it amazing stability on every surface.
- Further, the ATV can drive weight of 75lbs which count as Loads. Weight is very well relative to its size which gives it the option to put on the ATV equipment.
- The ATV has power lock brakes that do the job perfectly which will give you a quiet and carefree head that your child will not be able to control the speed.
Also, the Kawasaki KFX ATV has different amazing designs that offer lots of colors to choose from, so your child has plenty of options to choose from.
Disadvantages
The only downside I found in the Kawasaki KFX ATV is that it can’t ride at very high speeds, it can only reach a maximum speed of 6 mph which is a great speed for kids, but I think after a while, your child might get bored because it can’t ride at higher speeds. So, that’s something you’ll need to consider before buying it.
Opinion
In my opinion, the Kawasaki KFX is by far the best ATV you can export for small children, but on the other hand, I would personally not recommend it to children over the age of 7 because it was less enjoyable for those ages, but was undoubtedly the perfect choice for children under this age.
8.Yamaha Raptor 700r
The Yamaha Raptor 700r is perhaps one of the best and most powerful ATV in the world today and is the most successful model Yamaha has had. Its success has been a crazy one and many people are unaware that the Raptor can climb altitude amazingly while excelling at it.
In my own personal opinion, the raptor 700r is the most powerful ATV in the market and one of the fastest models of all time that is super impressive.
In addition, it is important to note that the Yamaha YFZ series does not really match the capabilities and performance of the Raptor, while simply giving much better torque, engine and performance that if you ask me about mountaineering, the Raptor 700r is by far the best choice for you.
Price
You can buy the Yamaha Raptor 700r for $9,199 which is very expensive; therefore, it is not for all riders and I would definitely recommend the Raptor 700r only for very competitive riders who have the money and need a very powerful ATV for racing.

I think it’s pretty clear why the Yamaha Raptor 700r is so good for mudding . Maybe the power and speed it provides or whatever you may think but the 2 things listed below make it so good for mudding .
- Crazy Speed - The thing I personally love most about the Raptor 700r that I think makes it so good for climbing altitude is the crazy maximum speed that it manages to reach. It manages to reach over 75 MPH, thanks to the excellent type of engine — 686cc, single-cylinder, SOHC four-stroke.
- Tires that provide stability – The Raptor 700r tires manage to mow any block they meet on the track and are super impressive 20-inch size that provides perfect stability when riding.

In my opinion, the Yamaha Raptor 700r is definitely a powerful ATV that can provide you a crazy power for mudding while I personally recommend it to only experienced riders who are at a very high level of racing because if you are a beginner, you will have a very hard time riding on it because of its power, so it is important to be aware of your riding level.
