Yamaha Wolverine 450 (the most suitable for women)
The Yamaha Wolverine 450 is my favorite ATV for women, and in my opinion, it is the perfect ATV for women riders, especially advanced ones. This is mainly because of its very small, compact, and lightweight when compared to many different ATVs on the market. I am sure most women will love it because it is very easy to use and its design is suitable for women only.
In addition, what I personally love most about the Wolverine 450 is that although it’s small and comfy, it still offers a very impressive performance that will not outwit any of its competitors! Remember, though; it’s Yamaha here that offers the best ATVs on the market.
Price
The Yamaha Wolverine 450 is priced between $5,999 to $4,000 which is a great price for this ATV. If you want a lower price, you can buy it at a used price because there are many people who sell it at a very low price especially because the Wolverine 450 was released in 2007 and it is becoming outdated on the market.
In addition, if you want a more cheaper price, you can look at the Wolverine 350 which does perform less well and sold at a cheaper price.
Notable features
- The Yamaha Wolverine 450 has a powerful 4-stroke engine while showing a very wide size of 421 cc, which gives it the option of reaching a maximum speed of 70 mph. This is a very impressive maximum speed for an ATV as compact and small as the Wolverine 450.
- What surprised me the most about the Wolverine 450 is that it exhibits very small dimensions and compactness while weighing only 516 pounds (234 kilos) which is very low weight relative to the ATV and in addition to its seat height which is 33.1 inches.
- Also, if the 70 mph maximum speed scares you, you don’t have to worry about that because Yamaha’s entry into the Wolverine 450 CVT excellent brake system built from Hydraulic Disc works superbly and smoothly. In addition to the CVT transmission system, it is super easy to use at a level that every child can know how to use it.
- And in the end, if to talk only about the perfect design that the Wolverine 450 has, I am sure every woman will love it mainly because it is very suitable for women and is available for purchase in white, and blue colors.
Opinion
In my opinion, the Wolverine 450 is the best ATV on the list for women mainly because it is very comfortable, easy to operate, and compact which is just about everything a woman needs on her ATV.
Honda 250EX (Recommended for beginners womens)
In addition, Yamaha has released new models from the Wolverine series that even outperform the Wolverine 450, but with this, they are very expensive, and in my opinion, they are not suitable for women because they are too powerful and aggressive. However, I will recommend them for you if you want more advanced models.
Although I am not a fan of Honda models, I was very impressed with the fun, the lightness and the ease of control that the 250EX model has, to perfectly fit women, especially those that want to be safe when riding. This makes it perfect for women riders that are beginners.
The most notable thing about the Honda 250EX is that it has loads of different safety software (as shown below), which makes it the safest riding ATV on the list and at the same time very fun to ride.
Price
You can get the Honda 250EX at a very low price of only $3,499 but if you want to buy it used, you can get it almost anywhere possible. While this model came out a long time ago in 2004, this means there are lots of people selling it used.
Notable features
- The Honda 250EX has an excellent 4-stroke 229 cc engine that gives a maximum speed of up to 51mph (80 km). This may not be the fastest speed but it is definitely enough for beginner women riders and remember that the 250EX is specially made for beginner riders.
- The dimensions of the 250EX are very small and very similar to the Yamaha Wolverine 450 except its seat height which is only 31.3 inches and its overall height which is 42.2 inches and weighs only 349 pounds (158 kilos).
- What interest me most about the 250EX compared to other Honda models is its comfortability. It provides a perfectly padded and very comfortable seat to sit on to the extent that you won’t feel any pain even if you sit for hours.
- Also, it’s important to mention the suitability part. The 250EX design is more suitable for women who like aggressive and masculine-like ATV. The 250EX is available in white, red, orange, black, and yellow, so you have a lot of different colors to choose from.
Opinion
In my opinion, the Honda 250EX is an excellent ATV specially designed for beginners and can even fit both men and women because its design is very diverse and has lots of different colors to choose from.
In addition, if you are the type that wants to get more advanced ATVs but still prefer Honda, I strongly recommend you to buy more advanced models of Honda like the Honda 500EX or Honda 300 EX.
Polaris sportsman 550 XP (Best for tall women)
The Polaris sportsman 550 XP is one of the most popular ATVs that sportsman has released and has been a huge success all over the world. A lot of women riders liked this model, especially the tall ones due to its large dimensions.
What impresses me the most about the 550 XP is its technology and quality of display. I would recommend this ATV for beginner or medium riders. Although Sportman released the XP 850 in the same year that nearly has the same performance as the 550 XP, the XP 850 only has some upgrades and is better suited for advanced riders who want a more powerful ATV.
Price
You can get the Polaris Sportsman 550 XP at a very high price of $7,499. This is really expensive when compared to the prices of other models on the list, but you have to remember it is worth this price mainly because sportsman is the best ATVs company in the world because of their super quality materials and specifications that will last you for several years.
However, if you want to buy the 550 XP for a lower price, you can always buy it used, which is half of its price.

- The sportsman 550 XP features a superb 549cc, four-stroke, liquid-cooled, single-engine that manages to deliver a maximum speed of up to 62mph (90 km). This is considered to be the perfect and safe simple max speed that provides satisfaction which is what women just need.
- In addition, the sportsman 550 XP exhibits very high dimensions for women, which makes it more suitable for tall women. The seat height is 37 inches, its total height is 50 inches, and its weight is very heavy at 732 pounds (332 kilos) because of all its heavy specification and engine.
- What I personally liked most about the 550 XP is the quality of its materials which cannot be found in other ATVs. These materials are kept for you to make your ride last for many years and that explains why sportsman’s ATVs are always heavy.
- Finally, the 550 XP has excellent Hydraulic Disc brakes that are very easy to brake. This ability to break easily is mainly because of the 550 XP weight.
Opinion
In my opinion, the Polaris sportsman 550 XP is really a great ATV that shows great performance. This ATV is fit for tall women who want a good and satisfying ATV and are willing to invest the money.
I do not recommend this to beginner or medium women riders because it is a powerful and strong ATV. This ATV is suitable for advanced women riders and sportsman has models like the sportsman 1000 XP which are really considered one of the best ATVs in the world.
Kawasaki KFX700 (most fastest ATV for women)
The Kawasaki KFX700 is one of the fastest and powerful ATV I have ever seen in my life and is one of my favorite because of all the amazing features it presents that I think it is the best on this list and for women in general.
And when I say the KFX700 has the strongest specification, I mean the KFX700 is the fastest ATV on the list and one of the most fastest in general in the whole world. This feature makes it very expensive and makes it only suitable for advanced riders.
Price
You can afford the Kawasaki KFX700 at a relatively low price of $5,000 to $6,849 compared to all performance and what it offers. What I think is very worth investing in especially for advanced riders who want a fast ATV that can reach high speeds.
Notable features
- The Kawasaki KFX700 offers a very powerful four-stroke Liquid-cooled, SOHC, 697cc V-twin capable engine that can reach a maximum speed of up to 120 km (74 mph) which is considered a very high speed that can even be dangerous in some cases. This is what makes the KFX700 suitable only for very advanced riders who want to ride a very fast ATV that will provide them with crazy speeds.
- In addition, the KFX700 has the lowest dimensions in the world, its seat height is 33.5 inches, its overall height is 46.1 inches and its weight is 551.3 (250 pounds) and it is quite heavy compared to its size. But I was very surprised to find that despite the KFX’s powerful engine and heavyweight, it still manages to be very agile.
- What surprised me the most about the KFX700 is that it just manages to ride and go through every block and surface you just want to ride in between such as mud, snow, rocks, stones, or even curly mountains. Thanks to a powerful engine and Holeshot tire that does the job.
- Another thing that really surprised me is the very powerful brakes that the KFX700 has – the disc type that gives a super strong stopping power. However, I must point out that the front brakes are more powerful and stronger than the rear brakes, but with this, the front brakes make up for it, so you do not need to worry.
- Lastly, I have to mention that although the KFX700 is a relatively high ATV that is suitable for medium riders, it can still fit any rider that is even a meter and a half tall. It allows almost any rider to reach the ground easily, no matter what your height is.
Opinion
In my opinion, the Kawasaki KFX700 is an amazing ATV that can fit advanced riders who want a powerful and strong ATV that can deliver crazy maximum speed and strong power to ride in any area possible.
Plus I would even recommend it to women who want to ride in competitions mainly because there are so many competitive women who use hi for races and I’m sure that almost every race has the KFX700.
Yamaha Grizzly 350 (designed for young girls)
The Yamaha Grizzly 350 is an excellent ATV that really has everything that a woman would need because the Grizzly 350 is an ATV type that is perfect and designed for young girls. This is mainly because of the size of the frame, designed to suit young girls.
And I am not saying that the Grizzly 350 is not suitable for older women but is much less recommended for older women. For older women, I would highly recommend buying a more powerful and strong ATV.
Price
The Yamaha Grizzly 350 is priced between $5,599 to $4,000 which may be a high price for some people, but with that, I think it is a really good price compared to the performance it gives. While it may not be the most amazing in the world, it is good and satisfying.
Notable features
- The Yamaha Grizzly 350 has a single-cylinder, four-stroke 348 cc engine that works superbly and manages to deliver a maximum speed of 55 to 60 mph (88 km), which is a very good speed especially for young girls who do not need higher speeds than they might even be.
- Plus the dimensions of the Yamaha Grizzly 350 is relatively low than most ATVs on the list, which is not surprising because it is designed for young girls. While the seat height is 32.6 inches, its overall height is 44.1 inches and it weighs 257kg (568 pounds)
- Also, the design of the Grizzly 350 is super strong and superbly constructed. In my opinion, a major drawback that the Grizzly 350 has is that its design is very aggressive and less suitable for women. So, it’s important to take into account the design and appearance of the ATV if you fancy design a lot.
Opinion
In my opinion, the Yamaha Grizzly 350 is definitely the perfect ATV for young girls. I don’t think any ATV is better for girls than the Grizzly 350 mainly because its size and performance are great enough to give you enjoyment and is also less dangerous.
In addition, if you are an older woman, I would already recommend you buy the Yamaha Wolverine 450 which will suit you much more than the Grizzly 350.
